# Employee

In the Employee Register, you will find an overview of employees in Capitech Flow. The menu is located under Admin > Employee > Employee, and by default shows all active employees.

## Where do you find the Employee Register?

You can find the Employee Register in Capitech Flow under the menus **Admin - Employee - Employee**

When you open the menu, you get an overview of employees in your organization.

## What is displayed in the Employee Register?

When you open the Employee Register, all active employees are displayed by default.

In the overview, you can see information such as:

-   name
-   employee number
-   department
-   whether the employee is active

Which columns you see may depend on setup and permissions.

## How do you filter employees?

You can filter employees directly in the column headers.

Examples:

-   Click in the column **Department** to filter by department
-   Click in the column **Active in plan** to see employees based on plan status
-   Click in the column **Active** to filter by active or inactive employees

This makes it easier to find the right employee or group of employees.

## How do you search for an employee?

You can search by typing in the column headers.

Examples:

-   Type in the column **Name** to search for an employee
-   Type in the column **Employee number** to search for employee number

The search filters the list so you can quickly find the right employee.

## Can't find an employee?

If you cannot find an employee, it may be because the employee is no longer active.

How to also show employees who are no longer active:

1.  Go to **Admin - Employee - Employee**
2.  Click in the column header **Active**
3.  Select **Active in Hours**

This will also show employees who are no longer active.

## Employees from an external system

Employees who are imported or synchronized from an external system are normally not active immediately.

To find employees who have been imported but not prepared in Capitech Flow, you can filter by **Inactive** in the column **Active**

This can be useful when you need to check new employees transferred from another system and want to activate them.
