# Copy time registrations

You can copy an existing time registration if you want to create a new registration with the same content.  This is useful if you need to register a similar shift or time entry on another date or with a different time.

## How to copy a time registration

Find the time registration you want to copy.

Click the three dots to the left of the registration.

Select the copy icon with the plus sign.

A new registration opens with the same information as the original.

When the registration has been copied, you can change the information before saving it.

You can, for example, change:

-   date
-   start time
-   end time

When you have made the changes you want, click **Save** to create the new registration.

The copied time registration is created as a new registration. You should therefore check that the date, time, and any other information are correct before saving.
