You can find the tab here:

Warning rules

The Plan tab contains predefined rules that can issue warnings when scheduled working time breaches defined limits or rules.

These can include rules relating to working time, rest periods, or other conditions that should be checked when planning shifts.

Enable or disable a warning rule

To enable or disable a rule:

  1. Click the name of the rule.
  2. Select or clear the Active checkbox.
  3. Click Save.

When a rule is active, it can issue a warning if the schedule breaches the rule.

Copy and adapt a warning rule

If you need different limits or text from the standard settings, you can copy and adjust an existing rule.

This may be relevant if you have an approved exemption or your own internal rules.

To copy a rule:

  1. Click the three dots to the left of the rule.
  2. Click the copy icon, shown as two squares.
  3. Click the newly created rule and enter the required value, description, and warning text.
  4. Click Save.

Remember to disable the original rule if you only want to use the new customized rule.

Plan settings

Under Plan settings, you can enable features that affect how employees use planned shifts in My Capitech.

Enable quick registration in My Capitech

The My Capitech: Enable quick registration setting controls whether employees who are active in Plan can access the Quick add button in My Capitech.

Quick registration allows employees to register time for a planned shift with one tap.

Enable shift swap requests from employees

The Enable swap requests from employees setting controls whether employees who are active in Plan can request to swap shifts with other employees in My Capitech.

Set filters to specify, for example, which departments and shift types employees can submit shift swap requests for. To do this, click the three dots to the left of the filter and then click the pencil icon.

A manager must approve the shift swap before it takes effect.
