My user in My Capitech

Under My user in My Capitech, you can find information and settings for your user account. You can view your profile information, change settings, change your password, register your children if the feature is enabled, and choose what you want to see in the calendar.

My profile

Under the tab My user and My profile, you can see the information registered for you.

This may include:

  • name
  • address
  • phone number
  • other contact information

If the information needs to be updated, you can send a message to your manager or the person responsible at your organization.

If your organization uses Simployer as its HR system, you may need to make the changes directly in Simployer.

See the article Registrer time at home office in My Capitech, for further information about how to set this up.

Plan

Why isn’t home office added automatically when I register time on my home PC, even though it works on my mobile device?

When you use a PC or another device without GPS, the browser may provide My Capitech with a less accurate or incorrect location. This may prevent My Capitech from matching your position with your home office location when you use a PC or another device that relies on Wi-Fi for location data.

One solution is to:

  • create a home-office location on your mobile device and name it, for example, Home office mobile
  • create a home-office location on your PC and name it Home office Wi-Fi

This is a quick and simple way to resolve the issue.

You can also search for instructions on how to correct the location associated with your Wi-Fi network for the relevant browser or service.
