Client Settings
You can find client settings under:
Admin → Client Settings
What are client settings used for?
Client settings control your organization’s fixed information and core settings.
These can include:
- general information about your organization
- rules and alerts in Plan
- payroll and payroll export settings
- absence settings
- the closing date for hours and absence
- export formats and file names for integrations
Changes to client settings can affect several parts of Capitech Flow. You should therefore understand what a setting does before changing it.
The General tab
The General tab contains basic information about your organization.
This includes:
- name
- address
- telephone number
- organization number
The Dimensions tab
In the Dimensions tab, you select which dimensions to use in Capitech Flow.
Dimensions are used to link registrations to the correct area, for example:
- location
- department
- task
- order
- project
- duty
You can also specify which fields must always be completed, enable personal additions, and enable the Immediate Manager function.
The settings in the Dimensions tab affect registrations in Flow and My Capitech.
The Plan tab
The Plan tab contains settings and rules used in the planning module.
These can include rules that issue alerts when planned working time may breach defined limits or rules.
You can normally enable or disable a rule by opening it, selecting or clearing the Active checkbox, and then saving it.
If you need custom limits or text, for example because of an exemption, you may need to copy and adapt an existing rule.
The Payroll tab
The Payroll tab contains settings used for payroll, payroll export, and integration with payroll systems.
These can include:
- the closing date for hours and absence
- the file format for payroll integration
- payroll export grouping
- what can be exported
Some settings are normally configured during setup or by Capitech. You should not change these settings unless you understand how the change will affect the system.
The Absence tab
The Absence tab contains settings used to calculate and manage absence.
These can include:
- standard working hours
- the standard number of hours per day
- the number of self-certified absence days before a warning
- the number of vacation days
The settings can affect how absence is calculated, such as how many hours are deducted when an employee registers absence for a full day.
