Personal additions
What are personal additions?
Personal additions are compensation types linked to a specific employee in Capitech Flow.
They can be used when an employee should receive automatic compensation based on specific rules or working conditions.
Examples of Personal additions include:
- travel time
- walking time
- toll charges
- supervisor compensation
Two types of Personal additions
There are two ways to set up Personal additions, depending on how the compensation should be calculated.
Type | Description | Used when |
|---|---|---|
Hour distribution | Amount is calculated based on worked time. | The compensation should reflect how much the employee has worked. |
Time category | Fixed amøunt per day or per registration. | The compensation should be a fixed amount, regardless of working hours. |
Limit by period, department, and project
A Personal addition can be limited so that it only applies in specific situations.
For example, you can specify that the compensation should only apply:
- during a specific period
- when the employee works in a specific department
- when the employee works on a specific project
This ensures that the compensation is only calculated when the conditions are met.
When can personal additions be useful?
Personal additions can be useful when employees should receive variable compensation based on working hours, workplace, or type of work.
Examples:
- an employee should receive compensation for toll charges when working on a specific project
- an employee should receive walking-time compensation when working in a specific department
- a supervisor should receive supervisor compensation for a limited period
- an employee should receive compensation based on the number of hours worked
